Consumable tracking can be simple! We recognized that contractors needed an easy way to send things like tape, caulk, saw blades and other consumable items out to jobs.
ShareMyToolbox allows you to quickly select one or multiple of these items and send them along with tools and equipment to jobsites. The field worker who receives the items “accepts” the consumables along with any tools loaned. While the tools add to a list of assets that the field worker is responsible for returning to the company, the consumables are immediately consumed.
Each item sent to jobs contains it’s own history and tracking. Thus, you can still see a costing report and history information for every tool and every consumable that was accepted at the jobsite. Consumables just makes it easy to quickly send things out and maintain some tracking for how much was used on any given job.
